Hyperlocal Olympics | Talk About Local

Talk About Local (TAL) this week blogged about how the London 2012 Olympic Games should be the first hyperlocal games.

TAL, which is aimed at local bloggers, points out that hyperlocals recently covered the G20 and the papal visit and suggests that they should be given the opportunity to report on the Olympics in a hyperlocal way.

The blog adds that if bloggers were sitting alongside the big broadcasters and publishers in the press centre, then they could syndicate their content to the wider hyperlocal community.
