Residents asked to play their part in keeping city clean and green | Stoke-on-Trent

A massive clean up operation involving over 500 people across Stoke-on-Trent has collected 47 tonnes of rubbish.

Pits n’ Pots reports that the two day clean  up at around 100 sites marks the start of a regular series of events to clean up the city.

The local council has asked residents to identify other areas that need cleaning and greening and is urging them to play their part by keeping the city clean.
